I got a 93 f150 5.0 Electronic trans. It has no 3rd or OD. If I start it D it never shifts out of 1st. If I put it in 2nd it starts in 2nd and if I shift it to D it goes to neutral. if I start in D and then pull it down to 2nd it will shift to 2nd. I bought it this way. Lucky me trying to figure this thing out. I have been told it could be the vss, the wiring, or ? Oh the speedometer doesnt work and the ABS light is on. i have been told this is all tied together. Anybody got any ideas on how to check this? I dont have a scanner, and the local parts store cant scan anything older than a 96......

 

I fixed it...... the wiring that goes to the vss on the rear dif had a broken wire. Green to Green RedCon1
