I just bought a gen 1 1993 Lightning with a tranny drip...leak. I dropped the tranny and pulled the front seal. Got a new one. My question is. MY old worn out seal is actually tighter on the snot of the TC then the NEW seal. I just wanted to slide the new one over the TC to see how much play the old seal had and was suprized to find it had more play then the old one. I did not want to install it in the tranny if this is not correct..the leak was a pretty good drip!

Any input would be helpfull.
