Thumbs up New valve body

Today I got my truck back from the shop with the transmission rebuilt and with a BC-automotive valve body installed. All I have to say is that the truck shifts like a totally different truck, the shifts are quick and firm. Thanks Darrin! But the only thing is that the serpentine belt slips in every shift. Is there a way to eliminate the belt from slipping?

Thanks for the kind words.

On the belt, it's time to upgrade. I put a Goodyear Gatorback on mine and that solved it.

Glad to see that you finally got it together and that everything is working. Did they have any problem understanding the 'rebuild' kit? Do I need to provide more info in the future if I decide to do more of those?

Take care.

Darrin

I don't know if mine is a 6 rib or a 8 rib.

As for the rebuilt kit goes, the mechanic that installed it didn't had any problem throughout the installation. Every component of the kit was pre-assembled and labeled. I am very pleased with the kit and the costumer service of BC-automotive.
