Shift kit or tuner or niether?

I tow a 23ft toy hauler that wieghs in at about 6500 to 7500 depending on how I stock it with stuff and my dirt bike and ATV. I have no modifications to the truck. My question is, which is better for towing, a shift kit, tuner or leave it be?

The second half is, assuming its shift kit or tuner, which one is best?

My truck is an '03 Screw FX4. 5.4, 4r75 trans.

Thanks...

the guy i bought my truck from towed about the same, he had a shift kit and a edge evolution installed, he said he wouldnt go with anything else, if i were you go with both, its definatly worth the money even when you are not towing

I would also suggest both as well.

Troyer Performance sells the best engineered 'shift kit' that you can buy for these trucks. It comes as a complete valve body kit that you swap out for yours. Simple installation and a product that will get rid of the excess slippage without beating the hell out of the drivetrain.

Troyer is also the most knowledgeable tuner I have ever talked to for these trucks. That man knows his stuff and if you tell him exactly what you want, he will get it for you.
