Tranny just went out in my 97 4.6 and i need to buy a new one. want to put a high performance new tranny in. any ideas on where i could get one, or which would work best with my truck???

He likes to use the 4r75 out of the later models that came behind the 5.4's, either route is good

 

That's good to know...I'm probably going to want to upgrade my tranny at some point in the next year or two. I'm wanting to a lift and some 35"s and with close to 100,000 miles...figure I'm going to need to budget for that.

Any idea on how much does a decent performance tranny cost from BC?

 

It might be best to call and ask. The pricing will obviously vary according to the vehicle and how far the owner wants to take it.
