will a 4r70w fit on the back of the lightning if so will i need wire harness and change the computer for it? or will it not work at all. If it doesnt work can you use any 4r100's either from an an v8 f250 or expedition?

 

yeah itll fit but the pcm wont shift it. the harness wont fit. and it probably wouldnt live too long in there anyway....

the other 4r100s will bolt up and work but they are weaker versions of the 4r100.....

 

i had the 4r70w rebuilt can u get a pcm that works with the 4r70w and with the motor? or is it just easier to get a 4r100 and call it a day

 

youd have to change the harness as well....definitely easier to get the 4r100....its a no brainer.
