ive got a 93 f150 2wd 5.0 xlt. i've just stabbed a new motor and trans from a 95 in it. the problem is my 93 had a E40D in it and the 95 has the 4R70W. the book ive got covers up to 96 but theres no mention of the 4R70W at all. since the E40D has two plugs and the 4R70W has 3 plugs on it i need the wiring diagrams for both to cross refrence where the wiring differs and change it myself. i work on the road and just thrwe a rod in my harley and was told that i have till mon to get this back together or its goin to be towed. cant get info at the library since its closed till tuesday.its still a beautiful truck in mint condition so id hate to lose it.CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT? WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

 

Unfortunately the computer designed to work with the E4OD won't control a 4R70W. The hardware in the computer itself is different and changing the wiring on the truck won't do anything to correct the problem.

The answer is to get a computer that will work with that transmission.
