05 slip and scream

Hi Folks. I've done my research but can't seem to find anything close to my symptoms. My 05 with 74K has a slight slip from stand still. Upon heavy acel it will give a growl and vibrate through the floor board under load. At hwy speeds, if I kick it down into passing, I get a loud scream until I let off. This scream is a high shrill. The slippage is after it warms up a bit. Usually the first take off from home or work, it is fine, but after warming up it seems to slip at every stopsign or light. I've owned Fords all my life, never had this before.
Any ideas guys??? Thank you for taking the time to view and opinons you may offer.

I've never had this problem with a Ford, but my old Chevy Tahoe may have had a similar slip. Mine only slipped (then "banged") when accelerating from low speeds or from a stop. I found out that due to some major water (and mud) I had gone though, the grease on all exposed parts of the drive train had been significantly removed. I don't remember exactly what my mechanic said he lubed (one part more than all the others), but it fixed the slipping-and-banging. As for the scream...maybe it's dirty? I seriously doubt that being dirty would cause it. That being said, the Tahoe would whine a little if I neglected to clean the mud from the undercarriage before it dried.

Have you been through any water or mud recently?

Thank you for the reply. No, I haven't. I normally don't have it off the city hard pavement. This one has got me puzzled. I'll get under it and take a look and see if there is an abundance of dirt. Thank you again!
