What about running both a VB and Separator plate

So I finally ordered a modified valve body off eBay today. I Also just found out today about the separator plate upgrades. I wanted to know if there was any benefit to running both. I got a great deal only $150 for the modified VB and I will post up the results after the install. Thanks for all the input guys

PS Thanks a million to Phil for enlightening me on the VB upgrade in the first place

To do a valve body modification the plate gets modified. So, redundant.

Oh, and beware of modified valve body's on Ebay. I can hook you up with some real horror stories.

Just out of curiosity, what vehicle and transmission are we talking about here?

Not so much trouble with the 4R100 stuff honestly.

But buying used on transmission stuff is always a huge gamble unless you know how to take the part(s) completely apart and clean out any crap that may be hiding that can/will dislodge and then re-lodge exactly where it will do the most damage in your otherwise good transmission.

I always wonder why the previous ownere is getting rid of something if it's good. But that may be just me
