I am trying to get the transmision out. I cannot get the transmission to drop low enough for the shifter housing to clear the floor pan. There doesn't seem to be anything on the motor that is hitting the body. HELP.

 

You have to twist the tranny 90 degrees to pull it back. Drain the fluid first.
