? On the side of the Road - Trans Failure?

I have a 2006 screw 5.4 4wd with an automatic transmission.

I was driving home and noticed a slight whining noise when accelerating. I made it about 5 miles when the transmission seemed to be slipping. I tried to limp it home, but I lost all my entire transmission within a mile.

I tried to reset the computer using my Gryphon programmer, but no luck. I have no response from the transmission at all.

Any thoughts? Right now my truck is sitting along the road halfway home.

Have you checked the fluid?

No, I never thought low fluid would have caused me to have no gears at all.

Whining sounds like you lost the pump in the transmission.

But definitely start out with checking the fluid level.
