37" tires with 4.56 gears

Would this be a bad idea, or cause any problems? I have 35's now, just wanted to see if it would be ok to bump it up if I felt like it.

4:56's would be a good gear but if you go 37's you could even bump up to 4:88's its just your preference

I have 35s and am getting 4.88s thrown in in the next couple weeks. Should be fun to drive again and wont struggle uphill so much.

Potentially. Not for a very long time though. My KM2s seriously dont wear, its ridiculous. I tihnk i'll be fine with 35s and 4.88s. I drive uphill and at elevation a lot over summer and I think the extra low gears will help a lot. I dont drive faster than 70 anyways so the RPMs will be fine for how I drive.

I make the uphill run from San Jose to San Francisco on I-280 going about 85 MPH, with 35" tires & 4.10 gears, with no effort at all. You should be just fine.

yeah, my parents live in Palo Alto, so I know the climb you speak of, I've driven it probably 300 times because I grew up there. That climb is nothing compared to highway 80 to Tahoe or highway 44 to Lassen. at 7000 ft elevation AND at a steep grade, it struggles badly. And I only drive about 70, not 85.

I-80 to Reno isn't quite as bad as I-50 to Tahoe. On I-50 to Tahoe, you should slow it down because those turns can be tricky. Just turn your overdrive off when going uphill.

Yeah I've driven 50 plenty of times to my buddy's place on Fallen Leaf Lake, you can't drive too fast anyways once it goes down to 1 lane each direction. But I make this drive often during summer and also the drive to Lassen to our Ranch. I always turn OD off when climbing but even with overdrive off the tranny works hard to keep speed. 4.88s are gonna be nice.
