the safety switch is out on my 78 f250 351m with auto just wonderin where its located and how hard it is to fix it

not sure if its a c6 or not i really dont know much about automatic transmissions, expecially not the old ones

 

Purdy easy, drivers side on the linkage goin' into the case. Does it start in neutral?

yea it starts in neutral, i dont put it in park unless im on a killer hill, when i get home i put it in neutral kill it and set the brake
