Rear Ends

Does anybody know what is the standard rear-end on a 2005 4.6l 4x4 supercab F-150. I have one and it is a 355. My buddy who lives in another state is interested in buying and wants to know what is "standard".

Tell him to look on the door jamb sticker and get the axle code.

4.6= 8.8 rear end

5.4= 9.75 rear end

the axle ratios are usually 3.55 and 3.73 was a option
