It improves and firms shifts. The slipping into gear that our transmissions do promote wear and create heat. This piece will make your trans work better shift better and in theory last longer. I have not read anything bad about it here. I was all set to get one but decided to save some money and ordered a Factory Tech separator plate instead. The Separator plate is just OK but 1/4 the price. Down the road I will add the Troyer Valve body like I should have done in the first place.
