I have a 2005 F150 KR Screw with the 5.4l and a 4r75w tranny. It has started to slip and has thrown up a tranny malfunction code after 112k+ miles. I have it being looked at now but I am preparing for them to come back with the worst news and say that the tranny needs an overhaul. I have been looking at newer tranny's to swap in and see some low mile 4r75e models. I saw in another post the the "E" and the "W" are just about the same thing, so will the "E" swap in place of my "W" with no problems or will there be any complications?
