Question Who has done the Jmod?

I am thinking of doing this mod to my truck. I just want to get as much information as I can in order to do this right. When doing my research I found that there are many hole sizes to chose from. Also the accumulator springs can be changed or removed. I need help from the ones who had done this mod. What source did you used in order to do the mod? What sizes of holes did you used? Did you modified the springs? Is it worth it?
Thanks in advance.

You need to talk to this guy, Patman03SprCrw. He's done the mod several times.

The number 11 hole is very much different on the 2000 truck valve body than in that article. There are also some other internal differences that make for some crappy shifting when they are modded to that article.

The best choice in this case is to call Troyer Performance and buy a quality and properly modified valve body for your truck. You can reach them at 540-965-7126. If you call them, let them know that Darrin sent you. It does help.

I was taking a look on the Troyer valve body but I dont want to spend $300 + shipping + shipping on the old valve body. The shipping cost to me is an issue because it is a little expensive to Puerto Rico. But thanks anyway Darrin. Can I tell that you sent me when I buy another troyer part? jijijiji

Why don't you send me a PM or email me. I think I have an idea that will work out better for you since you are so far away.
