Code P0715

Code P0715

hi guys got a transmission with a code P0715- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor A Circuit. what does this mean? should i change the shift solenoids? also when im driving the transmisson doesnt feel lik its going in to second but from first goes in to third?. thanks guys

You need to:

1) Identify the by year, make, model.
2) Identify the transmission.
3) Verify the fault code(s).

Also, make certain you use a code reader capable of "manufacturer-specific" codes. Many of the transmission-specific codes are not readable by basic code readers and, if you're using one of them, you're at risk of getting incomplete data.

its a 4r75w, 2005 ford crown vic.
