I am wondering if there is any kit on the market that takes care of the eletronics side of the factory trans so the truck doesnt go into safe mood and throw a CE light. any help would be awsome.

 

no, there is no aftermarket kit available. you would need a whole new pcm to control that transmission, and only God knows what else to make everything work right.

 

the C-6 is a stand alone trans as far as I know... you could tell the ecm the truck has a manual but then there's the whole bolt up issues and such


the 4r100 swap would be cheaper and maintain an overdrive if a bult 4r70 wasn't holding up see skidmarkracings truck for example
