quick question

hey guys, i have a 93 f150 4x4, I6 300 automatic. im changing the tranny fluid and filter on it. i have the E40D transmission, and there are 2 available sizes for filters. 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 depths. to what depth is that measured to? its 4 1/2 on my pan, but thats to the very bottom where it sticks down, and 3 1/2 to the main bottom of the pan.

if you guys dont understand i can snap a picture of it and point out which parts im talkin about

thanks

Patman03SprCrw is right. The 4x4 uses the deep pan, the 4x2 uses the shallow pan.
