Puttin on NEW clutch, have quick question.

Ok everyone, After 203,000 miles my slave cylinder decided it was time to start leaking, so I decided to only pull my tranny ONCE and put a new slave cylinder AND all new clutch, pilot bearing, pressure plate, etc. I have read many threads in the forums, and have read my factory repair manuals, but I have one question.

Do I need to take my NEW press. plate, and NEW clutch disc, and put them in a press and pre-adjust the springs, or is it true that if you have a NEW ONE you do NOT NEED TO DO THIS?

Ok, so I lied. I have two questions. If I need to do this, how do I do it?
The goal here is to only pull the tranny ONCE, do the repair ONCE, spend the money ONCE, and ask all you ford experts THOUSANDS of questions!

what kind of year truck do you have, if it is something like my 97 f150 I replaced the clutch flywheel, slave cylinder and the pilot bearing and I did not have to adjust the springs I just popped it on and it worked great

I also asked the same question HERE

Question #1 answer; No. Question #2 answer; Doesn't apply. Just install the new clutch kit and do not bother with the adjustment.
