Question F150 clutch question

I have a 1994 f150 4x4 that i bought with a clutch problem. The peddle has pressure but the truck will not move. It makes no noise as in grinding or ratteling can the clutch be totally burned out or is it something else?

Are sure that your transfer case isn't in neutral?

Sounds as if it is in the tranny not the clutch. With the engine off, you should be able to shift into neutral and move the truck, even if the clucth is frozen. The clutch disk can freeze to the pressure plate and you can't shift with the engine running, but can with it off.

I can put the truck in gear with it running or off. I pulled the driveshafts out and put the transfer case in gear and both yokes will turn as if it is in gear but don't know if the transmisson is turning. It sound like the trans is turning inside but don't know how to check if the clutch is or not. I was told that maybe the center was broke out of the clutch. I am stumped should i pull the trans ?
