Autometer trans gauge

i got one and in finishing my trans install tomorrow, but i have the trans temp gauge but idk where to but the probe... anyone know? the pan? its a little thin to tap... how do i do this?

i stuck mine in the test port of the tranny. fits perfectly and works great!

you could find a place with a few fittings and a T at the aux cooler if you have one as well. i've noticed many put it in the pan, i think i will find either a test port or a T by my cooler.

just run some long wires from the sender unit and drop it down your dipstick tube then shove your dipstick in.

t-fitting on top trans line going into radiator. be the hottest temp right before it hits the radiator

I prefer the sender in the test port.

you go do that and tell me how your sister likes it...

basically either one of those methods work if your not interested in drilling a hole in your pan.
