I recently had the tranny pulled to replace the flywheel and now im having problems......

Ill down shift in 2nd, it goes into 2nd then falls to idle... Once you go on the gas it goes back into 2nd.

Went back and their telling that my third brake light (which is led) Is causing the problem. They want me to add a 6 ohm 50 watt resister, which i think is bs.

There is a code, i dont know it yet. Im gonna take it into my school and get it.I think the light is bs, so what else could be causing this.


P.S. They drained the pan + new filter with new pennzoil fluid.. (I flushed it myself with Mobil 1 Mercon V not to long ago)

Put the original light bulb back in there and quit whining.

That way you will know whether or not it's the issue.

 

i would if i could, dont have the housing anymore.

it doesn't make any sense why the light would do any thing, iv had it in for 2 years with no problems, now all of a sudden it starts.

doesn't the pcm get the input from the brake switch.
