i pulled my friends car out of a trail last night. when i headed home my truck threw tranny fault on the display. the codes were a 1-2 shift fault and a 2-3 shift fault. i dont have od either. but drive and reverse work fine. it'll shift into od but immdiately drop back into drive.

i have a 05 fx4 5.4. it was around - 35C when i pulled him out.
from what i gather either i burnt my clutches out or its electrical
