i have a 95 f150 4x4 with an aode-w tranny. it has been leaking about 3 quarts a day. i don't have much tranny exp but here is my question i dropped the transfer and adapter and noticed it leaks around the shaft. is this normal and if it is does it leak around the shaft and get sucked back into the pan at the bottom of the adapter. after inspection of it that is what it appears to me to do. anyhelp would be great as i have never even take apart a tranny before.
