We just finished installing the transgo shift kit in my 4r75w. I had friend who is a transmission specialist help me intstall it. The installation went very smoothly but when I took it for a test drive. It shifts exactly the SAME!!! WTF?? We installed the 4r70w-HD2 kit but only because we were told by the partsman that Transgo does not make a kit for the 4r75w tranny because they are the same. Has anyone else had this issue??

 

That sure doesn't sound right on how it turned out. Something is wrong.

And they are correct, the same kit is used for the 4R75 as with the 4R70.

Does the computer need time to "learn" or should you notice a difference right away??
