Shudder When Shifting

I have an 04 F-150 4x4 which I just had the trans rebuilt and now I am dealing with a shudder when the trans shifts. It dosent happen all the time but it does happen between 1100 and 2000 rpm. One of my Friends mentioned that its probably a coil pack. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..Thanks

I think starting out with things like the coil packs is a good way to go. You don't know how many "transmission" problems I have seen that have been either coil packs or even EGR issues.

I had the Tranny looked at by the dealer and it turns out its a torque converter issue which will be resolved by replacing the torque converter.

Didn't you replace the TC when you had the tranny rebuilt?

Yes I did...however after I confronted the shop with what I had been told by the dealer I was informed that they use rebuilt T/C when doing rebuilds and sometimes they dont always function as intended. Also the lock up swittch was replaced and now the tranny shifts like a dream..so far I am happy with the fix I will see what happens.....
