2000 ford f-150

Need help:
Am having a problem with my automatic transmission, shifts fine from
1st to 2nd but from 2nd to 3rd takes longer than usual to shift. Was told could be speed sensor is the speed sensor located above the transmission
range sensor? If so then I have changed the speed sensor and the shift solenoids and still having the same problem. Any suggestions?

Well, could be a few things. Something that comes to mind is the accumulator spring for the 2-3 shift. That or the fluids old and needs changing- how is it or do you know? Mine was doing this but in 3- od, my band was shot. That eventually lead to a tranny rebuild, replacing the springs, forward clutches, o/d band naturally, etc etc. It does sound like the accumulator spring which I'm told is easy to do if you know what you're looking for. The valve body needs removing I believe for access.
