ever since i put the chip on when it shifts i have a quick belt slip... Harmful??

ive had it on for about 5 months with no belt or tranny problems..

Get a Goodyear Gatorback belt... it will get rid of the noise.

I had the same problem and installed the gatorback and it fixed the problem.

 

now that belt slip will stop pissin me off.. lol

 

Yea, it's defiantly annoying. I know Troyer sells Gatorbacks, he usually will recommend them when ordering tunes for the sole reason that the stock belt will slip. And don't be intimidated by doing it yourself... it may look confusing when you open the hood, but its very easy to do (and the routing picture is right there when you open the hood.) Just requires a 1/2 inch breaker bar.

I had the Gatorback on when I got my tunes so I never experienced any sounds.
