Trans fluid change
When is it recomended to change my trans fluid on my 2001 supercrew with 31,000 miles? With very mild use and replace the filter how many guarts of oil does it take? Can you drain the torque converter? is it better to go with OEM parts on everything? thanks Dan

You are due. Yes you can drain the TC. It has a drain plug. Amount of Mercon V to use should be listed in your owners manual. if you do not have one, it can be downloaded in PDF format from www.motorcraftservice.com, in the owners manual section.
