does the 98 f150 2wd have a drain plug on the tork converterter? my tranny is bucking and doing a shutter when i come to a stop. it trys to die out then acts like it doesnt want to shift. what should I do? should I flush it and change fluid? or do I have to replace trans? let me know if anyone can help. it doesnt sli[ it just shiftsall ****ed up in drive. I f i shift manually it fine until it hits drive then it doesnt know what gear it wants to be in. help please!

It's on the driver's side of the trans where the shifter cable attaches. There are two bolts that hold it to the trans, and a wiring harness.

They may call it a TRS, DTRS, MLPS or nuetral safety switch.
The torque converter refills from the trans. You add fluid through the dipstick tube. The trans pump will fill the torque converter.
