Should I?

I just changed the fluid last weekend, and while i was bolting the pan back on, I noticed that one of the bolts were stripped out!!! This was the first time ive done it myself, so i blame this on the mechanic. Anyway its a corner bolt and it was longer than any of the other bolts, so i think they tried to replace it with a longer one trying to fix it or whatever.....So i put some lock tite on it and put it in but i was wondering if i should try to tap it out or just leave it? I havent seen it leaking but am wondering if it is ok to leave stripped out like this? Dont think it matters, but its an 4R70w tranny. Thanks

You can get a Helicoil repair kit at most auto parts stores. This will repair the threads better than new.
