Royal Purple Transmission Fluid
Royal Purple Transmission Fluid
Well I wanted to throw this out there.
I was checking all my fluids yesterday and I noticed my transmission fluid was REALLY low, i mean it was just barely showing on the actual dip stick. I am kinda annoyed because I had the oil guys check it out and they said it looked fine about 300miles ago.
so I ran up to my local auto store and picked up tranny fluid for my truck and i pored 1 full quart in and it filled it right where I wanted it.
After driving it around I could tell a huge difference, now I know i was low but I clearly noticed the difference.
My point is make sure to check your tranny fluid and if you need to add some go by your local autoparts and pick up some of this stuff up.

Good Stuff
Also available in a 5 gallon size from eBay for $187.81 + free shipping.
4 quarts goes into one gallon. 5 gallons is 20 quarts. Our transmissions take 14 quarts. The MOC Flush requires 16 quarts to operate the machine. That is just enough to have a little left over for ATF fluid in the transfer case and/or power steering.

Last i checked it did not meet MERCON V spec so converter clutch wear and chatter might become an ishue. Please take a look on the bottle and see if it has MERCON V listed. I hope it does so i can swap mine over for the towing season is coming.

I have about 17 quarts of Royal Purple ATF sitting in my closet. I have never used this product before but I assume it is of great quality. How would you'll compare it to Amsoil transmission fluid? Would they both be pretty close in the area of quality?
