2WD/4HI/4LO... Why not 2LO??

Just thinking about it... It *might* be possible to make it disengage in 2wd automatically... I'd have to stew on it for a little while, but I think it's easily do-able with maybe just a diode... That would prevent you from inadvertently locking the front axle when traveling down the road in 2wd... If you accidentally flipped the switch while the front driveshaft was stationary, it would not make pretty noises... I may have to revise the schematic.

Get this sucker instead.

When you want 2Lo just don't pull the handle. For those of you with a stick I called and the cable is long enough to attach it to the t-case lever. That way you don't have to make two arm movements to get the front wheels locked.

My Dad's '92 F250 had 2HI, 4HI, 4LO, and 2LO in that order on the floor. All mated to a 5 speed stick...

I wish he still had that truck...
