Sounds like the torque convertor unlocking and locking back up. That is normal depending upon how much gas you give it. The more gas, the more likely it will unlock.

similar problem

i have a similar problem with my 2000, 5.4 liter, when im driving down the road and in overdrive, if i let off the gas and coast down to where it will shift, it feels like i have applied the brake, and when i press on the gas, it kind of jerks back into OD, i have 121,000 miles on it and transmission fluid is fine
