Tell my 4R70W that!! I'm turning 38X15.50R20's with 4.56 gears for well over 40K miles with my built 4R70W with about 400rwhp/500ftlb and she's still kicking!! Built properly it'll handle ANYTHING you could throw at it for alot less than the 4R100 swap!!! I don't take it easy either. I've been in several burnout contests and repeatedly light them up when leaving stop signs/red lights.

 

This thread scares me, and gives me hope all at the same time.

How much power can a properly built (i.e. complete performace rebuild, with a billet torque converter and such) 4r75e handle? I want to suoercharge my truck, and up the boost slightly, but that might **** off the transmission.
