Rear end confusion - 06 2wd V6
Truck: 06 F150 Single Cab. 2WD, 4.2L, Manual.
I have the 2.5" AS lift on my truck, running 295/70/17s. I want to regear. I know I want 4.11s. What I don't know is what axle I have. I'm pretty sure it's the 8.8, but I don't know what spline count it is.
Also, I'd like to get some sort of LS, or even a mild locker put it. I actually use my truck, and know the benefits/pros/cons of them. I want to maintain my road driveability, so a full on locker I don't think is the answer. I also want to be good in the snow, so I'm not sure if a LS is the right choice. I'm not a hard core off-roader, but I do take my truck off the beaten path every once in a while. I tow and haul almost every weekend.
Please help my ignorance.

Edit: Pretend budget is not an issue. Then pretend I'm trying to be cheap. I'm somewhere in the middle.
