Ok, its time to change to T fluid in my 2000 expedition 4.6l, I have looked at several sites but haven't found an answer. Trying to get a new T filter, one auto parts store says does not have one to change, this was a local parts store, went Napa wanted to know which pan do I have 4 3/4 pan or a 3 1/2 pan, has the 4 3/4 in stock but has to order the other. How do I measure the pan, from the lip to the bottom or from the lip to the hump in the bottom in the pan.

 

There is a transmission filter and there should only be one for your truck. Look at the filters they have and pick the one with the extended pickup tube.
