How to change transmison fluid & filter on 94 f150 4.9

 

Good luck getting responses when the thread title is "89 Mercury". Thread titles are like subject lines in e-mails.

Off the top of my head, it should be just like any other vehicle - drop the transmission pan. If you have never changed transmission fluid in any vehicle before, a Haynes or Chilton's manual will be a big help.

There is a torque converter drain plug. I would drop the pan, drain the converter, and replace the filter.
