Question Do I really need a cooler?

2007 F150,4.2 V6,auto,regular cab
I do no hauling at all, just my tools every now and then.I use to install coolers just for extra protection on my rides.I know installing one will help in the long run,but is one really needed? I'm asking the real tranny gurus here;the guys that build them or work on them for a living.Just your opinions, please.

BTW,i'll be changing/flushing the entire tranny every 15k miles!

I looked everywhere on my truck and there is "NO" tranny cooler!
So,I guess i'll start looking for a cooler. If I install one will it void my warranty?

Yup, you can always add a rechargable flashlight, or a toolbox or something.
