2007 F150,4.2 V6,auto,regular cab
I do no hauling at all,just my tools every now and then.I use to install coolers just for extra protection on my rides.I know installing one will help in the long run,but is one really needed? I'm asking the real tranny gurus here;the guys that build them or work on them for a living.Just your opinions,please.

BTW,i'll be changing/flushing the entire tranny every 15k miles!

Oh ya I just notice you have a 2007 go look it should be up front.

 

I looked everywhere on my truck and there is "NO" tranny cooler!
So,I guess i'll start looking for a cooler.If I install one will it void my warranty?

Yeah,I agree with you.I'm just kicking the idea around.I guess my tinkering days are not over.

 

Yup, you can always add a rechargable flashlight, or a toolbox or something.
