Don't worry it doesn't go anywhere. It is a dust plug that is installed from the factory from ford.Throw it away. How many miles are on the truck??What that means is it is most likely original fluid and filter in the tranny
I would see if there is a drain plug on the torque converter to get as much fluid as possible out.not sure if that year has a drain plug??Oh and use the factory tranny gasket.it's reusable and much better than the ones in the filter kits.

Tranny Help

I would say it is original fluid. It Has 164.300 Miles.
I bought the truck about a month ago.
I did not see any plug for the converter , honestly I do not see the converter at all.
Yes my gasket is the reusable ones , it says right on the pan.
Funny thing Capacity for my transmission is about 14 qts. I disconnected the cooling line and cranked the engine before removing the pan.
After I drained and removed the pan, I don't think I had 6 qts in it !!!
Thanks for your help on this issue

Ahead of the pan is a rubber plug. Pull it, rotate the flywheel (I carefully used a screw driver) and you'll see the drain plug...7/16" IIRC.
