Strange Problem

Sometimes, when turning, I get a momentary lockup on the front right wheel. It last just long enough to make my truck jerk slightly in that direction. Any ideas what might be causing this? I posted this problem in the tranny section because this started happening just after I had a Factory Tech tranny installed. I also hear a whine coming from around the transmission. I had this whine both before and after the tranny swap so I leaning toward the transfer case. Could this whine and the wheel lockup be related? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

problem to me sounds like your IWE's , they are held diengaged by engine vacuum and the fact that you have a S/C on your truck affects your vacuum , first id check the IWE's with a vacuum pump to see if they leak down , i had a similar problem with mine . you might find they leak down excessively , secondly id check the IWE solenoid , they are bad for water entering the solenoid and giving a false IWE engagement

Forgive my ignorance, but what is an "IWE"? Could this also cause me to hear a whine sometimes? I thought it was the stock tranny starting to give up the ghost, so I had it replaced with a Montster Box, but the whine is still there. Thinking maybe it was the transfer case. Thanks for the help.
