possible tranny prob

I dont know wtf my problem is but its getting on my nerves. Everytime im at a stop and then take off my truck makes this slipping noise. I know this sounds dumb but it feels like the drive shaft is having a little room to spin and then grabbing after it rotates a little bit.

Anyone know what this is?

My truck is a 97 f150. 4.6l auto tranny.

This happens with most old trucks, or front engine rear drive vehicles. It sounds kinda like a clunk right? I read this problem actually in Popular Mechanics (had a feature on DIY auto) and this was one of the top problems brought up. First off there is nothing wrong with it! It may sound strange but it is perfectly normal. This just happens with age, it isn't hurting performance and there are no problems with it just normal wear and tear. I think thats what y'all are talking about...because mine does it as well
