Just had my 4R70W rebuilt,,Question though

$1,600 rebuilt, 97 F150 4x4-- BUT- when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd @~ 2000rpm's at 30mph it seems to hesitate, like it's not sure what gear to be in. It rev's up alittle then down- (this is with the throttle in a constant position and not jumping on it) When i floor it, it seems fine. Fluid level is fine, any ideas??? could this be engine related?

thanks
Frank

he installed a newly rebuilt trans, not my orginal. He said he'll have my orginal Tranny rebuilt in a few days and swap it out again for "my tranny". any idea what would cause the lack of power in 2nd gear?

thanks
F

Yeah, i know it seems like more work right? He's not charging me either...well, i'm not paying him extra, is more like it. Funny thing is- as soon as i mentioned the problem he said he'll be rebuilding mine and re-install the orginal.
