hey i kinda need some help if possible. i have an 03 boss f150, and i just recently put 4:10's in it.(4 sp auto). from a dead stop i floored it and when it got into third gear and around 4000 rpms it tried to downshift into 2nd like three times why would it do this. i just had a custom tune from diablo put in and now it does this. also when the pedal is floored it didnt want to go into 4th gear, but if i was normal driving it went in the gears fine...any ideas?....thanks..

 

The program on the chip has issues if the computer can't decide which gear to be in.

BUT! Never do a wide open throttle shift into 4th gear! It will break things fast. At least the program was good enough to not let it happen and save you there.
