My wife' 2004 Expedition 4x4 (50,200 miles), suddenly lost reverse and has only forward gear till about 30miles hour then it quits pulling, when it coast down to 5 mile hour it goes back into gear. Fuild level is fine, and looks ok, no leaks, was fine yesterday, no slipping. Anything that can be checked before having to take it to transmission shop?
