Hi my name is Derek ...this is my first time posting here..... I have a 93 f250 turbo diesel with an E4OD tranny that I'm having some problems with... for now I'm just gonna do a power flush and put an additive in it to make it through the winter.... but i was planning on going to the junkyard and getting either another E4OD or a C6 to rebuild so when the tranny finally goes ill just put the new one in... but my question is... What bell housings are the same from motor to motor? ex. is the bell housing the same from a 7.3 diesel to a 460 or a 351? also do you think adding another tranny cooler with a fan would help out much? I am going to be towing a lot with the truck this summer and i plow also so i want the thing to be reliable. any help would be appreciated

 

Gotta find a 6.9L/7.3L IDI to get the matching bell pattern. I even think the 7.3L PSD has a different pattern, but for sure yer IDI won't match a gasser.
