Ive got a 97 f150 4.2 manual was driving to work and shifted into first fine then i go for second and my stick hits my seat!? 3,4,5, and reverse work fine and now i can go into 1st once in a while and there is no 2nd? Dont know too much about transmissions, could it be the linkage or some kind of barring went? i need this truck for work, any help?
