factory tech

just bought a factory tech valve body and was wondering how hard it was to install? or if i should have a shop do it? how much would it cost for a shop to install it??

something like that i would have a professional do. ive down a number of fluid and filter changes on my cars, but something like that,these trannys today are so complex,all that electronic stuff etc..dont want to end up blowing the thing

I've a kit sitting in the garage awaiting installation, and I'll be doing it myself. It really doesn't seem that involved.

Email Gregg, and I'm sure he'd send you an instruction set to review.

I put one in myself. I have basic tools and wasn't used to doing anything more than oil changes. It was fairly easy, a bit messy, and definately nothing to be scared of. I'm sure you will have instructions. Just use common sense, follow the directions, and take your time.

The only thing I needed was a torque wrench that I bought from Sears, then returned after the job.
